Materials

All our products are handcrafted in Zurich, Switzerland. Almost all of the pieces are made of porcelain, sourced from Europe. The glazes we make are mixed in-house with raw materials. We also use recycled porcelain for specific products.

Unglazed porcelain tends to be more scratch and slip resistant with a smooth pebble stone-like finish. Glazed porcelain is more stain resistant with a glossy, matt or textured finish. Over time, the porcelain takes on the patina of oils, acids and liquids, transforming into a rich and smooth finish.

Care Information

Tableware is designed for daily use and guaranteed to last for years with the right care.

The pieces are for serving - not storage. We recommend to avoid storing acidic foods or liquids for too long. To remove marks left by cutlery, we suggest hand-washing periodically with a cleaning agent or treat with a fine sanding paper.

Craquelure, the result of aged glaze, is a fine pattern of dense cracking formed on the surface of the porcelain. It is not a sign of damage and is safe to use.

If you are using the ceramic as intented and care for it well, your piece will last you for long and become more beautiful with time.
